Class Description

'StrawBubs Performers Club' (SPC) is a new drama & singing program with a sprinkle of movement, perfect for young children! Like StrawBubs, it'll be about having fun and letting imaginations soar! This program is suitable for children currently in SK or Grade one (born in 2019 & 2018) Winter & Spring Session Time & Dates: Monday Evenings; Time: 6-6:45 pm Dates: January 6th-April 7th (12-week class block) Location: Compass Community Church, 405 Drury Lane, Strathroy. Please ideally keep April 14th free as a backup date in case I need to cancel any classes) NO CLASS ON FEB 17TH (family vacation) NO CLASS MARCH 10TH (March break) Pricing: 🍓Returning Customers(those not needing a uniform T-shirt): $210 plus HST 🍓Customers brand-new to SPC (requiring a uniform T-shirt): $225 plus HST (Price includes SPC T-shirt ) * Option to pay in full after booking or pay a $50 deposit after booking and pay the remaining fee by January 4th. If you want to just pay the $50 deposit please e-mail me after booking to let me know. The uniform for classes is a yellow SPC T-shirt and comfortable leggings with either lightweight runners, ballet or jazz shoes. There is a large comfortable waiting area if you want to stay on-site or you can leave and come back at the end of the class. What to expect from the program: 🌟Fun drama games to spark creativity 🌟Engaging in singing warm-ups, exercises and short songs 🌟Reciting poems with a focus on delivery, projection, speech sound articulation and gestures 🌟Simple choreography and movement to complement the singing side. 🌟The last 5 minutes of each class will be some sensory relaxation time with bubbles, lights and breathing work 🌟 For the last 6 weeks of the class block, we will be working towards some performance material for parents to come and view. This will include a short play, some singing & dancing. 🌟April 7th will be an informal performance for parents to come and sit and watch and see what we've been working on over the 12-week block! 🌟 Please note there are no extra fees or costs involved for the performance.
